Contestants rack up points in a game show-style challenge that culminates in a murder mystery!
In the HSF competition, students work in teams of one to three (plus a mentor) to identify and analyze electronic evidence related to a crime. In the online prelims, they choose from categories including network analysis, mobile forensics, live system forensics, steganography, file carving, and more, answering questions to earn points. The teams with the most points in the UAE will compete on­-site* in the finals, where the CSAW Murder Mystery waits to be solved.

*Only Only High School teams from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are eligible to compete in the on-site finals here at NYU Abu Dhabi.

WIN BIG!
1st PLACE
Acceptance into a bespoke Summer Research Intensive, taught by CCS-AD faculty and researchers.  This training program will take place in Summer 2017 in Abu Dhabi.  All expenses to be paid for by CCS-AD] Admittance to the coveted University Prep Summer Program (UP), sponsored by the NYU Abu Dhabi Admissions Department.  Attendees are trained and tutored through the standard American standardized college application process and provided with feedback and advice about college applications.
University recommendation letters will be provided by the Director of the Center for Cyber Security, Abu Dhabi.

2nd PLACE
