The workshop was valuable to explore air quality in Abu Dhabi and how we can reduce exposure to air pollution for our well-being.<\/p>\n<p>Abstract:<\/p>\n<p>Did you know that Abu Dhabi\u2019s 2020 air quality exceeded the WHO guidelines by more than 4 times? This equates to a reduction of 2 years from one\u2019s life expectancy according to UChicago research. What does this mean for our well-being and what can we do to lower our exposure to air pollution? In this interactive in-person practical workshop, we will explore the constituents of outdoor and indoor air quality, with a focus on Abu Dhabi and Saadiyat Island. We will then explore data visualization tools to compare that to each of our hometowns.
