Community Partner/Sponsor Application

We are now excited to grow the NYUAD Hackathon into a network spanning institutions of higher education from across the world, as well as industry partners. We are interested in institutions that will be able to provide mentors with experience in Quantum Computing related to any field from the sciences to the Arts. We also look for these institutions/departments/companies to identify challenges so participants can work on during the hackathon. The challenges have to be solvable in three days suitable for a hackathon tech challenge. The mentors can magane and help lead a team during the hackathons.

If your company/academic institution would be interested in community sponsorship or partnering and be affiliated with this event by nominating students, identifying challenges for the hackathon, providing mentors with excellent experience in QC, or sponsoring this event in anyway (such as sponsoring travel for mentors or students, sponsoring food for the event or a reception, or accommodation or any other way), please sign up this form, and we will get back to you with more details and answer all you questions.

We are also looking for sponsorships as well, so please reach out to us if you are interested in becoming a sponsor.

Academia: If you are a computer science, physics or any other department that is interested in joining the NYUAD Hackathon community, please fill out this form below.

Industry: If your company is interested in partnering or sponsoring the NYUAD Hackathon, please have a representative fill out this form below.

Looking forward to healthy collaborations for years to come!

Thank you in advance and please email us at:  nyuad.hackathon@nyu.edu.

Our commitment to safety: This event will be held in person at NYUAD. While we plan to arrange and cover the cost of travel, food, hotel, and transportation, participant safety is fundamental to everything we do. As the world faces the Omicron variant, we must all commit to putting safety first and follow the directions of the local health authority, which may impact our planning and nominated participants. All participants must be vaccinated and also MUST wear a mask at all times during the event. If you are accepted to the NYUAD Hackathon, you also have to provide proof of your vaccinations (both or three doses).

Deadline

Deadline to submit applications is February 15, 2023. This is an absolute deadline so we can obtain visas for all of the Hackathon attendees. We expect to have the nomination results by February 20, 2023.
