Loay Elbasyouni is a Palestinian electrical engineer who worked on the NASA team and was the main engineer for designing the innovative robotic helicopter (Ingenuity) that landed on Mars in 2021. He has been awarded several awards for his exceptional contribution to the Mars helicopter team in demonstrating the feasibility of helicopter flight in the extremely thin atmosphere at Mars.
