Program Overview
The NYUAD Hackathon Program will Include the following:
The Hackathon will start with a series of virtual interactive QC workshops and lightning talks during the third week of March. Attendance is required for all participants.
The event begins on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at 8AM (UAE time). We will have a welcome, then Lightning API Talks, and team ideation. On Thursday and Friday, until 2PM UAE time, teams will develop their applications. On Friday at 5PM, teams will present their applications to a panel of experts during a public event. Please note that all activities will be held at the NYUAD Conference center (A6).

DJ Spooky public event at the Louvre Abu Dhabi:
Acclaimed Paul D. Miller, aka DJ Spooky, will spin his vibrant sounds for an evening of NY based electronic music and hip hop, as part of Louvre Abu Dhabi’s Lates series, bridging the arts and sciences in celebration of the Middle East’s first ever Quantum Computing Hackathon hosted by the Annual NYU Abu Dhabi International Hackathon for Social Good.

Paul. D. Miller (aka DJ Spooky)
Paul D. Miller is a resident at Yale Quantum Institute and is a composer, multimedia artist, and writer whose work immerses audiences in a blend of genres, global culture, and environmental and social issues. Miller has collaborated with an array of recording artists, including Metallica, Chuck D, Steve Reich, and Yoko Ono. His 2018 album, DJ Spooky Presents: Phantom Dancehall, debuted at #3 on Billboard Reggae.
