Tegan McDuffie is a multidisciplinary theatre artist focused on the entanglement of technology and ecologies. As a recipient of the 2019 NYUAD Arts & Humanities Research and Creative Initiative Grant, she developed the The Last Auction Lab Cycles, a series of workshops to explore sustainability and individual responsibility in the climate crisis through performative installation.
McDuffie recently held the position of Instructor of Project and Stage Management in the Theater Program at New York University Abu Dhabi. She studied internationally with Company of Wolves in Glasgow, Theater Mitu in Bangalore, and as a Fulbright scholar in Berlin, researching technology-mediated performance practices and organizing site-responsive events. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Directing from Carnegie Mellon University, McDuffie spent several years curating and creating for an independent performance space, Structure 13, out of a former stained glass studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
