We Are All Migrants, An Xmas Carol  is  a performance prototyping-open rehearsal process and the culmination of a 4 day artist residency/workshop with participants  of the Museum of Migration and Memory project.

The Museum of Migration and Memory is a performative research project that attempts to address shared concerns such as, “How can migrants and their communities per/form the narrative of their own experiences?” and “How can artists not only intervene to create platforms to articulate migrant lived experiences but also share agency to structure the intervention?”

This project is led by Robert Deguzman, NYUAD Theater Program’s Instructor for Production Management, Dr. Dennis Gupa, University of Winnipeg’s Department of Theatre and Film Assistant Professor and Majd Alloush, NYUAD MFA in Art and Design student and is part of the NYUAD Heritage, Memory and Mobility Research Kitchen.
