We Are All Migrants, <\/b>An Xmas Carol <\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/b>is\u00a0 a performance prototyping-open rehearsal process and the culmination of a 4 day artist residency\/workshop with participants\u00a0 of the Museum of Migration and Memory project.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The Museum of Migration and Memory is<\/span> a performative research project that attempts to address shared concerns such as, \u201cHow can migrants and their communities per\/form the narrative of their own experiences?\u201d and \u201cHow can artists not only intervene to create platforms to articulate migrant lived experiences but also share agency to structure the intervention?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

This project is led by <\/span>Robert Deguzman<\/span><\/a>, NYUAD Theater Program\u2019s Instructor for Production Management, Dr. Dennis Gupa, University of Winnipeg\u2019s Department of Theatre and Film Assistant Professor and <\/span>Majd Alloush<\/span><\/a>, NYUAD MFA in Art and Design student and is part <\/span>of the <\/span>NYUAD Heritage, Memory and Mobility Research Kitchen<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
