Importance/impact/contribution: This paper reports a new microfluidic sorting device for synchronization of C. elegans worms in collaboration with Majid Warkiani’s group at the University of Technology in Sidney, Australia and J. Han’s group at MIT. This high-throughput sorting device could potentially replace the chemical bleaching method that is currently used in the laboratories to synchronize the size of worms (see the email inquiry from Prof. Jennifer Garrison group attached.)
