Her research interests include Latin American politics, human rights violation, and alternatives to social cohesion (such as sports, social businesses, and education). Outside of academics, she loves playing football, learning languages, and watching Netflix.

Her research interests lie in (but are not limited to) multiculturalism and migration in the Philippine context, global sustainability, and Southeast Asian geopolitics. You can sometimes find her walking around campus with drum sticks and trying out new drinks and menus from Blacksmith.

Khoa Tran | Managing Editor

Khoa Tran is a Senior from Vietnam studying Legal Studies. His research revolves around how technology and policy innovation can drive sustainable development and the welfare of developing countries. He has publications in Religions (2077-1444) and Patient Preference and Adherence (1177-889X). He is also the founder of two education start-ups in Vietnam, VSPACE Education, and Miyork Organization.

Zhong Chen/Zack is a Senior from Singapore studying Social Research and Public Policy, with minors in Arabic and Public Health. His research interests lie broadly in the field of international development, public health, early childhood development, and gender. On campus, he is also a part of REACH, the Writing Center, the Applied Global Public Health Initiative, and the Parkour SIG.
 

Michael Xu | Senior Editor

Michael is a Senior from Northeast China majoring in Economics and minoring in Arabic and Computer Science. His potential research interests include primarily the fields of data science and visualization, econometrics theories and models, and possibly natural language processing. In terms of non-curricular, university-related activities, Michael has worked with the Student Embassy Ambassador Liaison Program (SEAL) as the contacting point for the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Abu Dhabi, served as the President of NYUAD Tower of Babel, and co-organized the “#NYUCheerUpChina” Event in Spring 2020.

Matthew is a senior from Brisbane, Australia studying Political Science and Arabic language. His research interests include international security, terrorism, political disinformation and conflict in the MENA region.
