Multiple research opportunities are currently available in the SBBC laboratory in the area of protein biochemistry. The candidate will be responsible to express, purify, and analyze protein samples using different molecular biology and biochemical techniques including enzyme kinetics, spectroscopy, and structural biology.

Postdoctoral fellow with a PhD in biochemistry or related field and experience with the instrumentation available in the SBBC laboratory are encouraged to apply. The research project will focus on cancer metabolism and the study of different enzymes that accelerate the metabolic rate in cancer cells.

The Structural Biology and Biophysical Chemistry Laboratory at New York University Abu Dhabi, UAE seeks to appoint a research technician starting November 2017 or shortly thereafter. The successful applicant will study enzymes' structures and functions mass spectroscopy and hydrogen/deuterium exchange labeling of the protein sample. Applicants with a background in mass spectroscopy or protein biochemistry are encouraged to apply. 

Applicants should have a BS or MS in a related area of research. Excellent communication skills in English, ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and scientific creativity are essential.
