On Thursday, May 10th, 2024, Prof. Stanislav’s team from NYU and Masaryk University presented “Talking to Urban Data” at the CITIES Seminar Series. This innovative project applies Urban AI to enhance smart urban planning and public health through zero-coding natural language query-based analytics. Leveraging a fusion of network science and deep learning techniques, such as graph neural networks and transformers, the pilot targets cities like Abu Dhabi and New York. It aims to predict mobility patterns, recommend transport routes, and propose zoning changes. The project also includes a visualization dashboard to facilitate educational programs and stakeholder engagement in urban development.
