Misinformation Resilience in Digital Networks: The Influence of Political Identity on Climate Beliefs

This project studies how political identity shapes people’s reactions to climate misinformation in digital spaces. Using data from a multi-country survey experiment embedded in a simulated social media feed, the research analyzes how individuals respond to AI- and human-generated (mis)information, and how different fact-checking strategies influence belief and sharing behavior. The project contributes to understanding how misinformation spreads and how to design more effective corrections across political groups.
