2016 HACKATHON PROGRAM

The event begins on Friday with an orientation and welcome, lightning API Talks, and then moves onto “open mic” pitches for ideas and team selections on Friday evening. On Saturday and Sunday, teams will develop their applications. On Sunday evening, teams will present their applications to a panel of experts during a public event.

Noon-1:00pm Ideation: Consolidate ideas, practice pitch
1:00pm-2:00pm Lunch
2:00pm-3:00pm Idea Pitches followed by voting
2-3:00pm Finalizing of teams and team meetings
3-6:00pm Teams announced and hacking starts
6:00-7:30pm Dinner
7:00pm Depart for Grand Mosque Visit

Test Rehearsal in Conference room with Advising committee ( 5 minutes per team)

Building Apps for Social Good in the Arab world
Presentations with application demo (5 minutes per project)
6:30pm Judging
7pm Winning Apps Announced
7-10pm Reception
